When you turn on Snip-it, a snip-it appears on the screen that lets you tap any part of the screen simply by tapping. When you tap it, the current screen opens in snip-it/crop mode, then selects the desired part of the screen that then touches cropping. That's about it.
Snip-it requires some permissions to work properly. It requires access to your media and photos - because it is where snips are saved. Requires access to screen sharing to help capture everything on the screen. (As soon as Snip-it is off, screen capture will no longer work).
